MWI Light keeps coming on!

I have seen this posted several times but can't really find that anyone found an answer. On several, random phones we have folks getting a message waiting indication light but when they check voicemail they have no messages. It has happened every day this week. This past weekend we had a power outage and the phone system was on when I came in Monday morning but CallPilot was stuck. So, I rebooted Call Pilot and hoped that would solve the problem. It did not. I plan on rebooting the entire phone system after hours today but was wondering if anyone had any other tips as to why this is happening. We have an Option 11C, running Call Pilot.

We do not use call pillot, however, I believe there was an option to reset message waiting lights. We have had a simular problem with our Repartee voicemail system and I normally use a MCK key on my digital phone to reset the phones that are incorrectly displaying message waiting alerts.

Also, my voicemail system when rebooted will alert users of old/non deleted messages. I wonder if CP does the same.

We found out what the problem was with this- we had disabled the MMail aml link when we setup CallPilot but not fully removed MerMail so when the system was rebooted the link was re-established and people were getting message lights. Thanks for the help!
