Priest and Rabbi

Good morning all! I recently purchased a CTIA accesory kit, add-on modules and software for my 3904. Supposedly I should be able to use Microsoft Outlook or ACT to dial contacts from my pc after installing the software. I can get it to work only 10% of the time, the software sucks, there are no directions, etc. Has anybody had any luck doing something like this? The software is supposedly Nortel's, but if I do a search on their site, you get nothing besides saying that there is an accessory (the CTIA) that can do this. Any suggestions???

We had problems running first party TAPI on a PC running Windows XP, we found that it would lose settings. Windows ME was fine. I have yet to try it on Windows 2000.

I did manage to get it working. I am running XP. The problem was that I have a hand held pda connected to my laptop as well, only it is connected by usb. When I take it out of the cradle, the CTIA works fine, but when docked, it gets goofy. Not real sure why, since it is not using a com port..... Oh well, I'll figure it out. Has anybody programmed customized popups, and if so, with what program? Thanks for all the input

Is the Docking station also a battery charger, that may be the problem. try unpluging the transformer.
