False MWI Indication on Sets

Hi,

I have Mmail Max rls 11.On a daily basis iam getting a False MWI Indication on Two phone sets even there is no messages for that mailbox.And also i tried all options by checking MWI Dn is f\given for some other mailbox and also removed the mailbox,then tried by deleting and recreating also.Can any one help me out.

Try going in to TOOLs and performing a MWI audit. Just let it run. It will reset those boxes that have messages and unlight those boxes that don't have messages.

Also try running a report to see if other boxes turn MWI on for those extensions.

You may have some boxes programmed with Revert or Alternate. Search for the DN's with false notifications, and remove them from any other box programming.
