Abandon Call Report -Needed for Call back follow-up

I am trying to get the information out of the Symposium Call Center 4.2 .The system has the Call By Call Statistics that show the Abandon Calls. But, I only need to create a report that only has the drop calls in a condense report without the other information. The Call By Call statistics show that information is being pull from the eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD, Agent tables. How do I get to those tables thru the can or Adhoc report or by creating a program to extract the data.

You should be able to save the Call by Call in Excel format. Run the CBC for what ever hour you need then at the top of the report there should be an icon of an envelope. There will be a drop down box and scroll down to the Microsoft Excel(data Only). Save it and then open the excel file and you will be able to edit what you need and don't need.

Abandon Report

I have done what was suggested with the Excel Spread Sheet but the user that is having to do this every hour fills it is to cumbersome to work with.

So I am wanting to set it up as a Adhoc report using the SQL Statement that I located on this PBXInfo site. I understand that you can add Crystal Reports in Symposium 4.2. And it adds a Report Dialog Box setup that has a Start (Date and time) thru End (Date and time) period for extracting the data.

When I look at the call by call report thru Crystal Report I see that it is using dbo.eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD. From my understanding, The call by call report has to run for short period of time(less than 1hr) because it can effect the network traffic when you try to run it for much more larger block of time because the report is very big. I see that the report uses the dbo.eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD table.

I am try to understand how the Report Dialog box work with Adhoc reports. Does this Report Dialog come up when there are report created. Does this Report Dialog Box select the proper table that is to be used with the report. And if that is the case where would I insert the special Query statement in Crystal Report that I located on the PBX website.

Also, I need to know where in the program that I need to put the below SQL code. I have work with other report but I have difficult knowing how to work with Crystal Report. Are their some information that I can read that can help me setup this report Symposium. I have ran the below code thru Access by linking one of the tables(dbo.eCallByCallStat20060704,dbo.eCallByCall Stat20060705 and dbo.eCallByCallStat20060706 etc.) that are being created every day along with the dbo.eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD

Select Timestamp, CallID, EventData, CallEventName

from dbo.eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD

WHERE CallID IN(Select CallID from dbo.eCallByCallStatYYYYMMDD
WHERE CallEvent = 41)

ORDER BY CallID
