Question CallPilot 3.0 Desktop Messaging

Currently installing a CallPilot upgrade that includes desktop messaging using Lotus Notes, users are able to receive fax and voice messages (internal and external) but not able to send them.

I can forward fax and voice to an email but not to another voice or fax

I recieve an error message "Failed to send message"

I've used the following formats:
Name "FAX=9737-3044@FQDN"
Name "VOICE=267@FQDN"

also tried sending it directly to a fax but received the same error message

any ideas?

Might want to check with your vendor,I used 1.07 for years and went to version 2.0 and no problems. Here at my new job we are using 4.0 and it doesn't work right and my vendor says Nortel is working on the issue so 3.0 may be included in it.
It works fine with Outlook though, just not enough people out there using Notes for them to get it working correctly yet I suppose.

never worked with Lotus Notes but had a similar problem with outlook and the problem was callpilot domain name didn't match customers domain name.
may want to double check that.
good luck
