That's 35k to 45k in £ (British Pound Sterling, where 1 BPS = 1.56536 USD) so we are talking 55k to 70k US$. That 's not too bad but still not great compensation when one has to locate to a different continent!!!

Sorry but that is in euros as Ireland is NOT part of Britain so we do not use pounds sterling. Given this the pay is pretty poor from a US point of view but then the US has the highest salaries in the Western world. To offset this there are the quality of live issues to consider and the fact that by law you are entitled to 21 paid vacation days a year minimum in Europe and it is much harder to dismiss someone. That said I accept this would not attract someone from the US here unless they were already coming over here. I could probably double or more my earnings by moving to the US but then 1 week of vacation a year no way!

DMI table. Unable to add another one

Being new to a job you usually get 1 week in the first 6 months then after a year you usually get two weeks. If you have any experience in any business you can negotiate 3 and even 4 weeks a year plus personnel holidays.

Good luck finding someone
