Midnight routine 30 not working

hey guys. I have a problem.

We recently have had a lot of people moving around, unplugging their phones etc. As a result we have lots of TN's being used without a set on the end of the line. So i added ovly 30 to the DROL

I checked this morning and no TN's have been freed up. I know for sure that there are lines with no sets on them

So i went back in and added program 30 to BKGD and i sat and watched the console output the following

The enties witn NWS501 are TN's that have been reported as having no digital set on the end are they not? but when i check with LUVU none of them are showing as free

NWS501 5 : -11

What the error is telling you is those TN's failed the signaling test and have been disabled.

Most likely there are not any phones attached, although there could be a phone or two that are on the "fritz" and that is why they failed.

To free up the TN's you will need to out the phones that failed after verifying that they in fact should not be there.

That's strange. You see this feature used to be turned on a few years back and i'm sure the phone was automatically outed, i never used to have to out those TN's.

Does than make any sense?

Is there anything i can do to print a list of disabled TN's?

I agree with jack. LD 30 does not out the phones in software. It just disables the phones. You would have to do a lot of programming if the phones were removed from software for being unplugged.
Looks like you are working on an option 11.
You can look up the stat commands in LD 32.
For large switches you can list disabled phones with LDIS l s (loop and shelf)
For Option 11 use LDIS c (cabinet) Cabinets start with 0.
You can also enable all the TNs with ENLS c (cabinet)
You can also work at the card level. STAT c (card) or ENLC c (card)

you can keep a Digital TN enabled by adding FLXA to the CLS of a set

this will not disable a port during the midnights if the set is unplugged

Thanks guys great info yet again.

It turns out that we've had 50 TN's available to us for over two years that nobody knew anything about.

I should get a god damm bonus for this lol.

With rls 24 and later you can also use
LD 117 INV GENERATE SETS
after a while you got a message that the inventory has finished
and you can use INV PRT SETS
You get a nice list from the SETS.
You can check this list for wrong type of SETS according the programming.
Also unavailable sets are often not patched or unplugged.
