Any suggestions on how to set up a remote ring notification for an M2250 attendant console? Our receptionest is frequently in the mail room next to the lobby and doesn't here the buzztone when a call is coming in. Just curious if there is some type of hardware I can buy that will also ring in the mail room. (for instance... can I setup a M2008 in the mail room and have it ring when the console rings?????)

Thanks!

Never did this but...
Try using Attendant Alternate Answering (AAA) It's described in the Feature Guide.
Basically you set a timer..ATIM... in LD15. Set an AAA DN in LD12.

If operator doesn't answer, timer expires and sends call to AAA DN in copy room or whatever. Have to experiment to see what happens if AAA DN isn't answered.

Reset config password in 8x24

In the CDB in the NIT data block set the night 1 as the post room and the TIM 1 to 08:00 then set NITE 2 as voice mail or whatever the night ext is and set TIME 17:00
Then calls during the day go to (mailroom ext) during office hrs when the nite key is pressed then after 17:00 it will go to your night ext.......

setting up the AAA can be a bit messy ... best of luck
