Meridian 1, VOIP and WiFi

As I typed the title to this post, it read like a recipe for disaster, but I hope that's not the case...

We have a Meridian 1 Option 11 which is covered in badges and stickers claiming it's been IP Enabled. However, to my knowledge, it does not currently have a network port on it, so I'm assuming it was just a software upgrade.

We have a requirement to add phones to a building which is linked to the main site a couple of hundred yards away by a Cisco 11mbps wireless bridge. What are the chances of having a good performing system based on adding VOIP functionality to our current Meridian 1 and running the additional extensions over 11Mbps Wifi?

Maximum number of users will be about 12, current and preferred network hardware is Cisco 2850 switches.

Any alternative suggestions gratefully received.

Any successful VoIP deployment relies on QoS. If you can maintain QoS as well as keeping latency and jitter within acceptable limits, you will have success.

Does this model of the wireless bridge support QoS and is your Layer 2 and Layer 3 network using QoS?

I work remotely fulltime on a VPN link to Nortel, and although I maintain QoS within the VPN tunnel, the tunnel itself is subject to the Internet and all of the issues there.
