I have Meridian 11C connected to another Meridian 11C via fourteen trunks over satellite connection to oil platform offshore. Signalling on satellite via ISL 9600 baud dedicated. Switch on shore connected to ISDN PRI 46 truncks to local CO plus eight analogs. I access maintenance port remotely to switch offshore. Onshore Switch Release 25 issue 30 + Offshore 11C release 23 issue 35+ Package ECT 215 and Package 242 equipped on both switches and multiuser is on in ld17. Any ideas

Location: Florida, Where old phonemen go to die Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Anyone install Symposium Express Client on Win 2000? Package 215 is CCR LD 80 Maintenance Enhanced Trace Commands. The enhanced trace function requires Multi-User Login functionality (package 242) to be enabled in LD 17. The enhanced commands are: DALL, DIST, ENTC, ENTD, GOTR, FITR, and STPT. These commands interact with each other only. The enhanced trace commands can be disabled through a maintenance telephone by dialing the following: nn + 9913 + x + yy Where: • nn = customer SPRE access code • 9913 = feature code to display for message display control • x = action code (0 to deactivate) • yy = message monitor code (02 for enhanced trace messages) Page 382 of 500 LD 80: Call Trace LD 80 A second dial tone indicate that the command was successful. Overflow tone is heard if the command is entered incorrectly. Once this command has been entered, a user entering FITR fromthe TTY will receive the period (.) prompt. Some loop-level commands are not valid on Option 11C systems, and have been replaced with slot-level commands. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Procomm Aspect Script I type in ld 80 entc 15 12 0005. Then I get an error stating that time format is incorrect. To start trace I do a gotrc. The exact same set of commands works for the onshore release 25 switch. I can however on the release 23 switch do a trace using the TRAK 15 12 command and TRAK 15 12 dev command. I just cant do any enhanced trace command. The problem is it is very sensitive when I actiually hit the return key when trying to trace the fax call. The problem is I am trying to trace a fax machine problem on the remote switch which connects and call is estabilshed but TN goes to lockout then idle again after only connnecting for approximately 30 seconds. Faxes on the main PBX which is connected to CO via ISDN trunking doesnt have any problems.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Programming a Key tried that no go. However I did get entd 1 5 0005 to work . Did a gotr and voila it traces a call over that channel. At least I know that enhanced trace comands do something on release 23. I tried every combo I could think of with the ENTC syntax no luck. Ieither get invalid parameters or same as before.
