Rep Power: 7  | Call Coverage Issue Below is the programming for a boss' phone and his secretary's phone. Both are set at RCO 0, which is three rings. When the boss is NOT on MSB, calls ring 3 times at his desk then three times at his secretary's desk before going to voice mail, which is what should happen. But when the boss puts his phone on MSB, the calls ring three times on his secretary's phone, then recycles there and rings three times AGAIN before going to voice mail. What in the programming below indicates this and how do I change it? The only difference I can find in the programming between these and a similar set-up that works correctly is that the secretary is set at CTYP EDLC instead of XDLC. Any help is greatly appreciated! Rep Power: 7 | Since I posted this, I've realized that every phone in my company is now doing this when Make Set Busy is activated. I've had Nortel techs looking into it and their best answer is "That's what it's supposed to do and how the function works," which is ridiculous. Not only because they're basically saying that the function is worthless but also because I and a hundred other people here can testify that it used to work correctly - activating MSB on the boss' phone bounces the call immediately to the secretary where it rings three times and then goes to voice mail if not answered. Does anyone have any clue what might need to be changed to get it working properly again? A patch? A patch removal? | ||||||||

Second scenario is controlled by Hunt 2144 (2841 is busy so hunt to 2144).. So why would the set FDN and work as expected but during HUNT not work as expected? Whatever that difference is -- is the answer. I would suspect that FDN would take over on the second set when HUNT isn't answered - but that doesn't seem to be the case - it wants to HUNT back to the 2144 set... Should the second set have SFA also as it is programmed? I haven't done SFA in a while - but I thought only the first set had SFA? I'll give it some thought throughout the day...
