INI Fault Code question

Last night I had some T1 issues. One loop became VERY confused and said it was down (on the card) when the software said it was up, that sort of thing. However, when I had the software and the hardware finally say that both T1s on the DDP were down and I had disabled the switch, I flipped the EN/DIS switch on the card and unseated and reseated it. This caused the 81C to INI.

The first INI was INI000, with a fault code ending with 2F. I can't find fault code 2F anywhere. Can anyone give me a hand with translating this?

I have no idea, too. Can you post the whole INI message? And what is the loop assignment of that T1?

Screen capture is not possible and the hard copy has already gone to another office. I just hoped that someone might recognize the first INI fc of 000002F and be able to tell me what it stood for. Oh well. Thanks anyway!

Question

Also where was the clocking on this switch? Were either of the T1's tied to the clock controller?

If there was DCH daughterboard, did you disable it properly and its MSDL by maintenance command in LD?

I agree with the others. Removing a card with a DCH is like removing a SDI or MSDL card. This will cause the switch to INI.

No Daughter Board. The DCH is built on an MSDL. The MSDL showed the port disabled.

Clocking may be the issue. I will have to dial in and see just what loops are set up for clocking. That could be it.

Thanks!
