Could someone give me some detail info on how I find Ran recording info for my switch. The company wants to update their Ran recording and I am not sure how to do it. How do I know if they need it in Cassette, CD, or MP3 file to get it updated. this is an option 81 on rls 25.30. Please help with some step by step info :casstet:

BRI Interface Line Card

Miramar,
Look in the switchroom for an interalia recorder,
or maybe you have a miran card in your switch.

New D Channel on New Switch

I do not see an Interalia. I know one of the other sites has them. How do I find out if there is a Miran card?

go into load 21 and do a LTM on your Ran Routes. Then take a look at the type of cards located at the location the members point to. The card will be labeled Miran or NTAG36--.

the last two symbols (--) represents the version of the card.

copyright on hold music ??

Okay....I have all the RAN info printed out. I have located the boards in the switch. They have what looks like a PCMCIA slot in them and a din connector like you use for a keyboard. So the question I have next is this. If they are going to have professional recordings done. What form should I tell them to send them in. Cassette tape, CD, MP3 file or what. and what is the purpose of the PCMCIA slot
