Location: Philadelphia Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Weird routing issue I have the following RLI built to service calls to the 215 area code. Dialing a one for 215 is not required, 10 digits will work. RLI 45 ENTR 2 LTER NO ROUT 40 TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON 4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON CNV NO EXP NO FRL 5 DMI 0 FCI 0 FSNI 0 SBOC NRR OHQ NO CBQ NO ENTR 2 LTER NO ROUT 15 TOD 0 ON 1 ON 2 ON 3 ON 4 ON 5 ON 6 ON 7 ON CNV NO EXP NO FRL 5 DMI 0 FCI 0 FSNI 0 SBOC NRR OHQ NO CBQ NO ISET 2 NALT 5 MFRL 0 OVLL 0 Route 40 is currently disabled due to an issue on the T1. I have a QSIG link which goes to an IPC turret system. When users on the turret system dial 9215-555-1212, the call starts to route after dialing 9215-555. When I trace the call the PBX is only sending 215-555 to the carrier. (the carrier is entr 1 above since route 40 is down). I receive a message from the carrier saying the call can not be completed as dialed. If I modify the above RLI to delete entr 0, calls route fine. I tried using the TOD prompt to tell calls not to route over entr 0 but calls will not complete. The only way I can get calls to connect over this RLI is to remove entr 0. Any thoughts?

Location: Philadelphia Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Sorry, the same entry was a typo. They are different entries is the pbx. The carrier for Rt 15 does not require a 1. After some more testing here is what I noticed: 1. If you remove the rt 40 entry, calls go to Rt 15 no problem 2. All this is done with route 40 disabled in LD 60. If I remove area code 215 and reprogram without any Deny codes, it starts to route after you dial 215. If I a three digit deny code (ex. 976), it dials the area code plus exchange before it starts to route. If I add a deny code of 7 digits (9760000), the calls route fine. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Couple of questions: Are your carrier routes PRI or DTI Is 215 programmed under SPN, NPA or NXX? Have you outted the entire RLI and reprogrammed? Did these routes exist in the switch prior to Release 19? Fletch Nortel
