Rep Power: 0 ![]() | URGENT: Can You Hear Me Now? My company is in the Atlanta area and we have three local area codes: 404, 770, and 678. Our PBX is in the 678 area code but all 770 and 404 numbers are stil local to us. Starting this morning I began getting reports (which I verified) that calls made to land lines (cellular calls did not seem to be affected) are put through but the person receiving the call cannot hear the caller on our end. Could this be something in the PBX or a local carrier (Bell South) issue?

If you can produce failure calls, you may want to use TRAC to confirm that the calls are not limited to a particular outgoing route (ie, your outgoing cell calls and local POTS calls are on different routes and/or different cards in the PBX).

This could be a translations error at the telco. rlc __________________ No matter where you go, there is the Ladies Love Marty Fan Club. :bow2: :bow2: :bow2:

Location: here there and everywhere Rep Power: 0 ![]() | There could be a Bellsouth issue but if it all landline and no cell phone I would think that other customers would be having the problem and should be cleared up soon. you could trac a call to a cell and then track a call to a landline go to LD 80 and to track by DN you would put in trac 0 xxxx 0 = customer number xxxx = dn your using hit enter after call is established and it will tell you the route info among other things, if they use the same route then you are looking at a telco issue good luck

You can also find proof that is it on your PABX or not if you have another piece of card and replace the current one. Notice if the problem is still there or no more.
