Could you tell me exactly what you are trying to accomplish by upgrading the firmware?

first step is to go to LD 32 and type the command FSUM. this will tell you what firmware you have on disk and what phones need to be flashed. that's my story and i'm sticking to it. i must go now, i have some evil telephones to out.

Enter into ld 32
type the following fdlu <TN>
The upload usually takes 15-20 minutes, if the set is already up to date, you will get a sch error indicating such.

Use FDLS in Ld 32 to do a system wide formware upgrade, this wud start the Flash download on the phones one after the other and wud take 15 minutes /phone. Hence if u want to do it TN wise so that u can do it for specific projects, use Fdlu l s c u command in Ld 32. For system wide firmware upgrade, use ld 97, fdl block to define the TNs u want to select, the time and the DN numebrs.

If there are many phones, make sure you do it after hours to make sure there is not much traffic in your PBX when doing this and also while a phone is in download mode it can´t be used.
