CE to IPE shelf change out

I have an common equipment (NT8D35BA) shelf that is empty. I want to swap out with an IPE (NT8D37BA). my current xpe print is as followed.

S0 S1 S2 S3 LOC DIS RGTP

02 028 028 028 028 NO 08
03 036 036 036 036 NO 08
04 052 052 052 052 C02M01 NO 08
05 056 056 056 056 NO 08
06 060 060 060 060 NO 08
07 004 004 004 004 TRNTON NO 08

the switch is an old 61 converted to a 81 so both cores are on top of each other. The cabinet that I am changing is above core 1 and between loop 28. Can I Program the following?

01 020 020 020 020 NO 08

Yes you can program that way, but are there no card/s assigned for loops 20 to 23? Check your CEQU in LD 22.

Even if the IPE to be assigned with superloop 20 is not physically adjacent to core 1 or superloop 28, it does not mean you cannot assigned supeloop 20 into it. The only matter is the length of the SNET cable that you will use.

As an installer, we are just trying to make it easy to see IPE and superloop assignment are in series with respect to their physical location. But scenario coming like yours, you can still proceed.

18 isn't a superloop you will have to use a multiple of 4 0,4,8,12,16,20,24etc.

54 is not a valid supl either. Needs to be a mutliple of 4 (or division of 4 should give a whole number).

Once you had decided about the correct superloop assignment, you can proceed with the swapping out of modules. Either you do first the swapping out or programming superloop in LD 97, it does not matter.
