Thumbs down Modem on TTY0

Hi all, i have installed a US Robotics Modem on TTY 0 and its working fine.. But when i connect modem on TTY1 with same modem configuration with baud rate as of TTY0 it wont works, sometimes it connects but no data poped up and some times NO answer occurs, I checked TTY1 settings its all same as of TTY0, what am i missing.

The Baud Rate For Tty 0 Is Set On The Front Of The Ssc, For Tty 1 It's Set In Software

I already said that i set TTY1 baud rate etc setting as of TTY0 i.e 9600,N,8,1 but it wont works..

have you tried using a NULL modem ?? did you run the scripts i sent you ?

Have you remembered to remove the modem eleiminator that normal is used on tty 1 and 2 and supplyed by Nortel

I tried both with null modem and without null mode. Yes colin i tried with urs Scripts they are working fine with TTY0 but not with TTY1 and TTY2..
anymore help. The get connected with TTY1 and TTY2 though but No data , i doubled checked baud rate/bit rate etc.. all r same as of TTY0.

Try to put two pieces of null modem (both M-F) together then connect to your US Robotics modem.

Just guessing...

Still working on it with no success, tried two null modem, didnt tried outing TTY and rebuild. How comes TTY0 is working fine on same TTY and modem setting and TTY1 wont?
