TDD on 2616?

Has anyone had installation issues with OTM 1.2? In the past, I ran into a package called Mobility Unplugged which is a backup/restore utility used on a lot of laptops. This caused an error "failed to find client path". Unfortunately a newer installation is giving me the same problem and even with this app removed it's still a problem. A basic W2k installation works but we have a specialized image (which must be used) and I was hoping some other people may have run into a similiar problem that could tip me off on something else to look at.

Laptop: T30, W2k sp2 (heavily specialized image)
Installing OTM1.2 (will patch after installation to patch 5?)

Any thoughts or ideas?

Ahhh, welcome to the world of Nortel Peripheral products.

Stephen, Looks like you are out of luck on this one. Nortel software prodcuts have REAL problems with other Nortel Software co-resident on the same pc. The install has to be straight Win 2k or other OS and nothing else on it. I've actually seen Windows Media Player prohibit OTM and other Nortel products from running properly.

So tell your IT guys to give u a stand-alone installation. Or you just wasted 5k or so on OTM
