Meridian 3905 ACD phone to ring on ACD call

Hey Everyone

I have a user that has a Meridian 3905 ACD phone.

No matter what we do we are unable to get this phone to ring when she is logged into the queue. Wither the headset button is up or down on the amplifier, or the headset button is turned off or on, on the phone, if she is logged in to the queue, calls will automatically be answered by the phone and it will not ring on her ACD queue line.

I have the feeling that the PABX has her phone programmed for the Meridian 3904 handset and not the 3905.

If this is correct would be experience the problems above? And can someone confirm that the Meridian 3905 ACD phones can ring on an ACD/queue call?

If someone is logged in at a M2216 ACD Set onto the same queue, with the headset button up on the amplifier the phone will ring.
Because of this I believe is something more to do with the phone and not the queue settings.

Unfortunately we don’t have access to MTE at this stage to check the settings in the PABX.

If any one has any info to assist with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

in the ACD programming ld 23 there is a prompt of FORC if this is set to yes the call will be sent auto answered to the phone. I believe they hear a short tone in their ear.
Check this setting, hope this helps

Wish we could help but you really needed, or at least someone, to have access to PABX terminal to check out the way it is programmed. For the meantime, if you suspect it was programmed as M3904, try to get such model somewhere then replace that M3905. This is to prove your intuition is right. But remember, to log in at M3904, offhook the handset first.

Also, if you have Symposium, check the caller presentation tab of the user. Forcing is set there also,.
