IP connection between CS1000M and Avaya ?

A custumber has an CS1000M Halfgroup Rls 3.0 with signallingserver in the Netherlands. They also have an IP-connection to Czech on an Option11Cmini rls 4.0 with ITGtrunk card as an H.323 endpoint for the Signallingserver.
Everythings works fine, name and numbers (SL1 and ESN ) goes to both sides.
Because the expanding of the company in Czech they want to replace the option11Cmini for an Avaya pabx (company policy).
They want to keep the trunk connection between the Netherlands and Czech over IP. How can we connect these 2 over IP ?
Has anyone some experience with this.
I have no Avaya knowledge. Can the Avaya behave like an H.323 endpoint ?

I will place this question also in the Avaya forum and hope someone has the answer.

Pennyman.
