Phantom FWD to different VM?

I have 2 DN's that need to be forwarded to another persons extension and stay in that persons voice mail. I thought about putting the 2 DN's on phantom TN's and DCFW to another extension. This works.

How can I get the phantom DN to leave a message on the DCFW phone?

In the voicemailsystem MerMail or CallPilot define the two phantomnumbers as extra DN's, this is the easy way.
Or create 2 entrys in the (voice)service DN table for the phantoms and send them to the VMbox.

John,

If I read your issue right

In the mailbox, there is a place for extension DNs. Add each number you want to terminate in the box to this list. Don't need the additions to the VSDN table.

I did that as well and I am able to get an internal call to work but it's the external calls that just ring and ring. These two numbers are numbers that the person is no londer there but they need to be answerd by someone.

I assume that you use CPilot. Create SDN as the same as the Phantom DN, then choose in Application Name as "Express Voice Messaging". Then in the Session Profile, there is a field as Mailbox Number, put there the DCFW phone's DN.

Try...I didn't test yet.

I will try this. I'm knee deep in application issues with Symposium right now.

Must be Monday...
