Opt 11C DID Configuration

I have an Option 11C version 23. I have a request to install several DID lines over an existing T1. It has been about 1.5 years since I have been in this system and need help with setting up the new DID lines.

I guess to get me started I need all the loads that I will need to work with and the basic configuration I will need to perform. There are existing DID lines. Is it possible to print the information I need from one of the existing lines?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

So you're adding more trunks to an existing T-1 circuit (like a frac T-1) or more numbers to the dialing plan?

If your new internal extensions to be created has already conforming to the last digits of the new DID series to add, I think no further programming, just to created those new extensions.

But if it is not, you have to map them to the internal extensions via LD 49.

Usually...when a new range of DID's are sent to you they arrive on an unspecifed number of ISDN/PRI trunks. So you would've been given this information (hopefully) or someone should be aware of it. You'd otherwise have a DMARC with the "trunk(s) just sitting there, and your company would be getting billed for it!
DID numbers come in the range of 1000's,(4xxx-4999, 5xxx-5999) which give you then the opportunity to assign/program them to the user/suscriber. You can probably look at how other sets of like kind are done.
Believe me programming sets are going to be the least of you busy times!
Good luck and have fun!!!!

I was able to test a few of the DIDs and they worked.

Thanks for all the help.
