Desktop and Web Messaging Configuration Problem

Desktop and Web Messaging Configuration in Call Pilot 4.0,

I am trying to config Unified Messaging.

When a voicemail comes in I want it to go to a speicific email address.

I went to Mailbox Classes, then to the COS I wanted this in, and enabled the "Message Forwarding Rule:"
But when I go to the mailbox and try to configure it, I get:
Rule Enabled No
Rule Disabled Reason: "System Admin turns off the rule"

Is there somewhere else this needs to be enabled?

Help File:
Message Forwarding Rule

The Message Forwarding Rule (MFR) can be configured by you or the system administrator. The MFR feature lets you automatically forward some or all of your CallPilot messages to an address configured by the system administrator. You must enable the Message Forwarding Rule.
A checkbox on the CallPilot Desktop Configuration dialog box for Microsoft Outlook, Novell GroupWise and Lotus Notes allows non-My CallPilot users to enable or disable their Message Forwarding Rule from the CallPilot Desktop Messaging client.
Message Forwarding Rule features
  •
Access CallPilot messages from most e-mail clients, including:
    •
Microsoft Outlook

Novell GroupWise

Lotus Notes

Microsoft Outlook Web Access

Lotus iNotes

Novell Net Mail

Netscape Messenger

Microsoft Outlook Express
    • Yahoo mail

Access CallPilot messages from Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).

Forward CallPilot messages from contact center caller to Symposium Contact Web Portal (SCWP) for treatment.

Forward CallPilot voice messages to an e-mail server in WAV format.

Forward CallPilot messages received during extended absences for archiving.

Forward CallPilot messages to temporary mailbox for disaster recovery.

Archive messages on a system-wide basis.
  • Provide Remote Lotus Notes users, who have no access to CallPilot server, access to CallPilot messages through a desktop.
NOTE: If a message cannot be delivered, MFR is disabled. Once you receive notice of the undeliverable message, you must enable MFR again.

Ahh I think I found what it was, it says you need to enable it locally on your rules.

Does anyone have the instructions on how to do that. I don't have CP Unified messaging on this pc so trying to visualize it is going to be difficult.

Can someone send me the instructions on how to enable your rules in your call pilot unified messaging clients.

Thanks!

I would assume it is the same rules wizard that you use for outlook (in the Tools menu)

That worked! Just tried it just to move to another folder.

Set it to run after message arrives, checked the subject field parameter and added the phone number I wanted to have checked and moved then selected the folder to send it to. Ran the rule and it moved.

From there, you should be able to re-direct to another e-mail address (have never tried this part).
