Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I was configuring a new PRI (61C suc 3.0), created the dch (IFC NI2 & RCAP NDS) added the trunks and enabled the loop. The DCH never establishes but spits out the message DCH: 26 DISABLED RING (INVALID SKID) over and over and over and over...... I've disabled the MSDL card and re-enabled, outed & rebuilt the dch....same thing... I've got different PRI and Dch in this configuration working, however the DCH is on a daughterboard. The DCH I'm fighting with now is on a NT6D80AB Ver 1 card....is this the problem? When I stat the card it shows the NI2 data loaded, but it's not happy when I try to estab the dch. Any Advice? Many Thanks Wherewolf

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Disable all of the DCH's on the MSDL card Disable the Loops of those DCH's Disable the MSDL Card itself Enable the MSDL Card with the FDL Option (ENL MSDL x FDL) Watch the output of the ENL command carefully and make sure that NO ERRORS are output. Enable the Loops Enable the DCH if they don't come up by themselves

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Thanks for the response Fletch. I tried as you suggested, there were no errors spit out, but the same results. I had a spare DCH daughterboard, so I yanked the old cables off, configured the Dual PRI for an onboard DCH and Viola! it works like a charm.....must be the vintage of the MSDL card that can't handle NI2 ? I'm guessing here.....Wherewolf
