Delayed Dialtone

I just upgraded a 51C to a 61c Rls 4.5, with 500 analog sets & 100 3900 series sets I am having delayed dialtone intermittently along with slow response form the tty. It seems to happen during peak usage periods can anyone suggest a solution?
thanks

have you ran all post upgrade test in the NTP's .If not do so now. It sounds like you have CPU issues. That would be a starting point
Try swapping CPU's and see if you still have problems. Hopes this helps

If This Was Just Upgraded I Would Check To Make Sure The Call Reg Are The Same As They Were Before. I've Found That Some Tech's Just Default The Call Reg In Ld 17.

I have run the post upgrade test and all seems ok there, I will scpu and see if the same thing happens on cpu 1
The call registers have been adjusted according to the NTP's for this release software.

The NTP's are just a guideline for the Call Registers.
Do all sets have the problem?
If you changed the CR', an INI is required.

Go to Ld 97 and check the SYSP parameters. You might need to correct those parameters if you use earliest 4.50w default database to build up your system.

I have swap cpu and still the same problem I have used the previous 51c customer database. Yes all sets have the same problem and I did ini after adjusting the CR.

Have a look at your TFS004 traffic report and look for either input/output buffer overflows or Call Register overflows. It certainly sounds like you are running out of those resources. ..and goes without saying that your vendor has installed the latest deplist?

Send a message via MSN to TomasSouth
Give your PABX at least a one-time full shutdown. Not sure with your PABX, but it happened before on my PABX.
