Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Need NI2 RCAP NDS Help Can someone help me out by posting an example (working example please!) of a NI2 RDB, NI2 DCH, and an example trunk that has NI2 as the IFC? I will be hooking up to a 5ESS switch and would like to configure this properly to get both ADD and NAME displays working. I've diligently studied the NTP's for guidance, but there are SO many options for RDB that my head is swimming. I have tried to take an existing DCH,Route, and Trunks and change them to NI2 with RCAP set to NDS, but you cant change them, you have to out and rebuild, but the settings are a little different. Can anyone assist me? Many Thanks, Wherewolf

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Thanks for the quick reply. I tried your settings and haven't got it to work yet.....I have a 61C, but I don't see much difference other than the type of DCH card. On the DCH setting you have the CO type set for Bellcore, where I'm attaching to a ATT 5ESS switch, I've tried both settings - same same. AARRGGGHHH! Location: Canada! Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Your service providor should have some kind of form that would give you the details on how your pri is programmed (from the CO) My (mis)understanding is the 5ESS and the ATT protocol would be used when connecting to a toll office. While your CO equipment may be 5ess I don't think you would use the ATT protocol.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Thanks to those that chimed in on this. I got it working over the weekend - the CO Type is ATT vs STD, and additional on the DCH BSRV is Yes - I don't know if that's why it now works, but I'm not complaining. I'll post up my settings for future reference when I get a chance. Thanks again! Wherewolf
