Does Nortel still support these devices?
Do they still offer firmware/software upgrades? or do i need to look elsewhere to update my licenses?

x11 is on the verge of not being supported; I believe that if you want licenses and things of that nature you're looking at a software upgrade to whatever is out there... probably x21 4.5.

generally what kind of costs are associated with such an upgrade?

Not really sure - you'll have to talk with a vendor about that because you may have some older cards and things in your system that will drive the price up compared to other systems that folks here have done.

I would plan on low to low-mid 5 figure number depending on the config.

Anywhere from 15 k to 100k depending on where you are at now.

:O jeez. thanks for the answers everybody. these forums are a life saver. I have to give a presentation in 1 hour of what i have learned so far about our PBX and at least i wont look like a total idiot.
