Rep Power: 0 ![]() | NVM Manager and Firewall Access I have a weird situation. If making a long distance call it will requirec a charge code to be able for a phone to make long distance calls. Now I have a few sets that are causing me some headaches as to why they are still able to make long distance calls without having to put in a charge code. I have printed out a few other sets that are not able to make long distance calls unless they put in a charge code and compared it to the one that is able to and both units are programmed identically. They both have all the same settings as far as CLS, NCOS, TGAR and everything. I have run out of ideas as to why this is happening. I have one other option that I haven't tried and that is to out the phone and then rebuild it. But I was hoping maybe someone might have some ideas as to why this is possible. Now remember I have double checked and tripled checked the phones programming and they all have identical settings. Now I have actually witnessed the call myself by a user. I asked the user to show me how he is by passing the charge code and he just straight dialed the number and it went thru. I have checked the area code calling for the number that he had dialed and it was going out the route that has a higher NCOS then his phone set does. Example of a set below. Any idea where I might have gone wrong. On my RLB for long distance calls I have a NCOS of 5 on all routes that is going out long distance. Once a charge code is inserted the telephone sets automaticlly overide his/her NCOS and gets a NCOS of 5 for the call to go thru. Any help is appreciated before I have to rebuild and and see if that will solve this problem. And if not then I am totally out of ideas as how to go abouts it. :casstet: DES 2286B TN 033 0 00 12 TYPE 2616 CDEN 8D CUST 0 AOM 0 FDN 55555 TGAR 1 LDN NO NCOS 4 SGRP 0 RNPG 8 SCI 0 SSU 55555 XLST CLS CTD FBD WTA LPR PUA MTD FNA HTA TDD HFA MWA LMPN RMMD SMWD AAD IMD XHD IRD NID OLA VCE DRG1 POD DSX VMD CMSD SLKD CCSD SWD LND CNDA CFTD SFD MRD DDV CNID CDCA MSID DAPA BFED RCBD ICDD CDMD LLCN MCTD CLBD AUTU GPUD DPUA DNDD CFXA ARHD FITD CLTD ASCD CPFA CPTA ABDD CFHD FICD NAID BUZZ AHD DDGA NAMA DRDD EXR0 USRD ULAD RTDD RBDD RBHD PGND OCBD FLXD FTTC DNDY DNO3 MCBN CPND_LANG ENG RCO 0 HUNT 55555 LHK 1 LPK 0 PLEV 02 FCAR NO AST IAPG 0 AACS NO ITNA NO DGRP MLWU_LANG 0 DNDR 0 KEY 00 SCR 12904 2904 MARP CPND NAME SPARE PHONE XPLN 27 DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST 01 SCR 52904 D MARP CPND NAME SPARE PHONE XPLN 27 DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST 02 CFW 16 03 AO6 04 DSP 05 TRN 06 CSD 07 08 CHG 09 DSP 10 SCR 12911 2911 CPND NAME IT HELPDESK XPLN 27 DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST 11 SCR 52911 D CPND NAME IT HELPDESK XPLN 27 DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST 12 13

Location: Florida, Where old phonemen go to die Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Mind boggling charge code problem You don't put NCOS's in RLI you put FRL's, so you need to check your NCOS to FRL relationship first. That maybe where your problem is. First go to LD 87 REQ PRT CUST 0 FEAT NCTL < return < return Also if this phone is supposed to be required to use a Code than you need to change LHK 1 LPK 0 PLEV 02 FCAR NO (YES) AST IAPG [Edited on 24/3/2003 by acewarlock]
