new proposal to call pilot unified messaging

need some advice for new unified messaging

How the Call Pilot will integrate with mail server and with Outlook 2003. Does Call Pilot require any software to be loaded on the mail server or on client's machine? We want our internal users to use MS Outlook 2003 to check their emails, faxes, and voice mails, and the external users will access their emails using Outlook Web Access 2003. (Currently we are having Exchange Server 2003 Standard SP2 on Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1, 40 clients running XP SP2, Outlook 2003 in cached mode enabled and Outlook Web Access 2003)

Thanks In Advance

CallPilot does not require any software to be loaded on the email server, unified messaging is done by a software plugin to Outlook loaded on the desktop. CallPilot has its own web interface, My CallPilot, that can be used to access voice mail and fax via the web. If you want to use Outlook Web Access, you can configure to use the messaging forwarding feature of CallPilot 4.0 to send a copy of all voice and fax mail, stored on the CallPilot Server, to the email server. It can then be accessed by the Outlook web client.
