Name and Phone Number Display when Dialing Out

Good Day,

Where can I change the configuration for the Call Display when dialing out
to show the NAME defined in LD 95, instead of the DEFAULT.

Some people when they dial out, it show our generic company name and phone number.... other it shows their NAME set in LD 95... and their DID number.

Thanks

But how would I block the name set in LD 95 to appear?
Dial out calls should display the company name, not the name set in LD 95.

Thanks

Send a message via MSN to TomasSouth
Dialing out means calling PSTN lines, or mobile phones? Then that mobile phone displays whatever set in LD 95?

Are you using PRI2? I do have PRI2 but such thing never happen. I wish to help, can you give more information?

Call your local telco and have them change the name.

Still working with my Outgoing CLID issue...

Right now: NAMA DDGA
Internally and External MYNAME and 514768xxxx

I want: CIENAME and 514768xxxxx

If I change NAMA to NAMD....
Internally it shows XXXXXXXXXXXX
External <blank>

If I change DDGA to DDGD
Internally it shows the trunk number
External 514768xxxx

All I want is to have the company name to show up. Because right now It shows MYNAME and the 514768xxxxx.

I dont find where to fix this!!

Re:

[edited]Disregard - You already have this done...........

H - I think you can create up to 15 CLID entries.

The entry appears just after the DN, IE:

Key 0 SCR 7777 0 = CLID 0
or
Key 0 SCR 7777 1 = CLID 1

It is set in LD 15 under NET

ENTRY xx CLID entry to be configured
- HNTN 0-999999 National code for home national number (1-6 digits)
- HLCL 0-99 ... 99 Local code for home local number or Listed DN (1-12 digits)
- DIDN a...a Use DN as DID (a...a = YES, NO or SRCH)
- HLOC 0-x...x Home location code (ESN) (1-7 digits)
- LSC 0-x...x Local steering code (1-7 digits)

Chas2002,

Thanks... but where do I specify the Company Name?
For the numbering... I was able to find some old posts and make it work.
My only issue now is to specify the company name for an outgoing call.

Thanks

You need to get with your TELCO and have them place COMPANYNAME on your leadining number.

ie: if your main number is xxx-888-1234 then you would have to have the local telco place a name to that number, then when you assign it in LD 15 on the CLID it will xmit the name that you advised TELCO to put on that number.

Also, there may be another trick. Go to LD 95 and put in your LDN number and place company name on it. Haven't done this in a while, but that may work as well.
