9 + 0 Routing

Hi All,

I did this a while back as a test with a 1010 number or something - but I can't remember what I did.

I need to route all 9 + 0 calls to a toll free number.

What are the programming steps? Thanks, Chas2002

Looks like all 9+0 is headed to RLI 1, if nothing else is using RLI 1 (check NPA, NXX, LOC, CDP etc) then all you should need to do is modify the DMI on RLI 1 to del 1 (the 0) and INST the new number.

Looking at the current DMI - it looks like nothing is set.
7177 is our Emergency onsite 911
And I checked LOC, NPA and that looks good.

So Do I add a DMI then add that to the RLI?

Thanks

If no other numbers are using RLI 1 than that should do it - make sure that RLI 1 is going to a route that will handle the call type you're putting on it also make sure you include any additional digit manipulation in the DMI if the route is a TIE route to another PBX.

That should work fine - the DMI and SPN entries are independent of each other in this case.

One word of caution on CTYP - In PRI situations I've found that some COs don't like the NP / TON = Private / Special when using SPNs so sometimes you have to set CTYP to UKWN to create a NP / TON of Private / Uknown. Something to consider if calls start failing for no reason.

Hmmm.

Mine is the same except I use RLI 8. I noticed the DMI should be 1 but is listed as 0. How do I change that and if I do will I mess something up.
