Rep Power: 0 ![]() | How to force duplex and media setting on an ITG? I have two ITG cards connecting to a cisco cat 4506. some of our users are reporting some garbled sound on our IP >>phone LAN. While investigating it, I noticed that the switch sees some > >>errors communicating with one of our ITG cards. I also noticed that >>one of the cards detects to 100/Full, which the other detects to >>10/half. Is there a way to force duplex and media settings on an ITG card?

There is a command in the ITG CLI that will allow one to change the TLAN port settings... be damned if I can remember what it is but it seemed self explanatory the last time I used it. Dump all of the commands in CLI and look at them... you'll find it.

If you dont have the '0 cap filter' unit in place 10 / half is about all you'll get no mater how you force the ITG.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks for your help Slag I figured it out. I am an old TDM guy, I am getting my first taste of VOIP and couldn't figure out how to dump the CLI on the pbx, never heard of that one before let alone type help and get something back. I figured out how to telnet into the ITG card and it all made sense, everything I needed was there. Thanks again.
