Location: Dunn, NC Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I have a clienet that wants to be able to identify an external caller at every extension on his Meridian system. I programmed a button on each phone for manual operation, but he wants to see it automatically. I understand that there's an external Nortel box that either accomplishes this and/or stores the Caller ID information. Can anyone out there help me? | ||||||||

Location: Houghton, NY Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Norstar system require Call Line Information Trunks. Standard Loop trunk cartridges will not provide caller id. Also, all systems below release 6 will only allow caller id to display automatically at the defined CLID station (Line Settings in system programming). All other users will need to use Feature 801 I believe. | ||||||||
