Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Opt 11C fiber remote cabinets We are in the process of combining two Opt11c systems into one. they are about 3/4 miles apart and the customer has puchased the fiber cards for the expansion. the main site will have the main and exp.#1. the remote site I wanted to have expanion cabinets 3 & 4 and the fiber ( single mode ) daughter board will be in position 2 on the SCC. it was my thoughts that this would bring up slots 0 thru 20 at main site and slots 31 thru 50 at remote since there would be nothing connected to the 2nd output of the 1st fiber expansion board. What happened when i brought up the system is that the main location did have slots 0 thru 20 but the switch assinged slots 21 thru 30 & 41 thru 50 at the remote . what i really wanted was slots 31 thru 50 at remote and had done all my programing to that end. to get the sysytem up i reprogarmed the remote site for expansion cabinets 2 & 4. I would like to know what i did wrong or what would have caused the system to assign the cards this way. I would redo it agin if there is a way. Any help is appreciated Tommy

Location: Canada! Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The first fibre expansion card has cabnets 1 and 3 on it while the second fibre expansion card has cabnets 2 and 4 on it. Top fibre connector top card = cabnet 1 bottom fibre connector top card = cabnet 3 top fibre connector bottom card = cbnet 2 bottom fibre connector bottom card = cabnet 4

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Its correct what Westcoaster said, from origin there wher only two singlefibre-daughterboards possible. Daughterboard 1 = cab 1 Daughterboard 2 = cab 2 Since rls 24 they created dualfibre-daughterboards. Daughterboard 1 = cab 1 and new cab 3 Daughterboard 2 = cab 2 and new cab 4 If you have your programming prepared wrong, you can do the mov command to put your sets to the correct cabinet. But dont do that with acd sets or sets with BFS-keys, you would get corruption in your database.
