Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Meridian Mail retiring? We have mm option 11. One of the user has problem when we dial his extension the phone will ring forever without prompting for leaving voice mail. Usually by the fourth ring it will ask for leaving a message. I am new in this and have no idea what this is about. Any help will be appreciated.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Menu warm transferring to 2 CDNs...intermittently getting me Well since somehow I was logged off. I'll do this again. Are you saying that the phone rings 4 times, and you do not want it to ring 4 times before going to VM? If this is the case, change the RCO in the phone config. to 2 or 0. However, 0 will not give the agent time to answer the phone before going to VM. I'd start with 2. If there were not FDN, the calls would never go to VM. If there were not MailBox, the system would say "Your call has been forwarded to a VM system, however the person at extension xxxx does not subscribe to this service. Transferring to an attendant." If its's just the ringing you do not want. Change the RCO.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | phone ring forever without prompt for leaving voice message First pull a DNB. In LD 20. Req: Prt Type: DNB Cust: 0 DN: xxxx enter until the TN prints. That will give you the TN (example 4 0 0 4 or 28 0 6 3) Still in ld 20, pull a TNB. REQ: PRT Type: TNB TN x x x x ( see examples) This will print out the config. for the phone. about 6 or 7 entries down will be FDN. It should have the VM number. Then in CLS make sure you have FNA as apposed to FND. Luck!!
