Hello,

Here is the situation...I have an extension that NCFW to a menu in meridian mail. The menu in meridian mail has option 1 going to a CDN and option 2 going to another CDN (both are in the same call center as the meridian mail which has the menu). The CDNs are acquired in Symposium and go to applications.

There are call centers all over the country that warm transfer to the menu and then hit the options for the caller. However, intermittently, they are receiving "Your call cannot be completed at this time" when choosing option 2. I have not been able to duplicate the problem...Does anyone have any insight as to why this is occurring?

Mermail will say this when someone is in the middle of a transfer or conference
when calling the menu. Mermail then trys to transfer the caller, but under Nortel rules, you cannot transfer a transfer or conference. We get this all the time from call centers.

Unfortunately no, You have to educate your people to let the caller go.
I hope they correct this someday. Of course, they ( Nortel ) doesnty consider it to be a problem. You can play games with wraparound t1's but i would not suggest going there.

If you allow transfer to outside numbers, they can conf in the menu by dialing the did.
I know its a bad workaround, but it works
