Option 11C back up procedure for switch
Hi Posted this yesterday, but don't see it on the site. We followed the backup procedures yesterday, but when we get to the R> prompt, (start file transfer procedure, it won't let us do anything. Is there a step that we are missing? Please give advice. Thanks so much

When we get to that point what do we do to start the file transfer? Our manuals are not clear. Thanks for your help.

You need to start the upload in your local software (ie. procomm, etc..)
There is typically a menu item allowing you to initiate the download.

Also I think procomm has to be set to Xmodem for this to work...
