For starters the Nortel IP stuff programs as Virtual TNs on Virtual superloops.

Once you do the station programming and the set attempts to register to the call server it will prompt you for Node # and TN, at the TN prompt you input the virtual TN that you built in the call server.

I left out a lot of step in the process - if there no IP stations configured on this system you might want to have someone on site walk you through a setup.

Hello AvayaPBX,

The TN's Correspond to the Loop or (phantom loop)

Here is something that may help.

To find all the available TN's that you can use for IP phones go to:
LD 20

REQ: luvu

TYPE: i2050

TN (Enter past this prompt)

//you should get somethign that looks like below:

TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 24 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 25 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 26 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 27 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 28 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 29 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 30 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 066 0 00 31 VIRTUAL 8D VCE
TYPE I2050 TN 070 0 00 02 VIRTUAL 8D VCE

It should list out all the available TN's for IP Phones. So for future reference you can assign any one of these TN's to a I series phone including i2002, i2004 and i2050.

Does that help?
