Long Distance Lockdown-Option 11

Is there a way to put a password on a specific extension to limit long distance? I have an Option 11. Thanks.

I have no 2626 here so I don't know anything about them.
We lock down long distance by setting the NCOS low enough that local is the only thing allowed.

There are a few phones we set up "station control" on.
This allows the user to *3XXXX ( XXXX= password) to lock the phone. This allows only internal calls, no outside.
**3XXXX unlocks it.

But, I bet some of the wizards on here have a better answer!

Take a look at NTP 553-3001-302 - System Security Management

There are a variety of ways to restrict certain phones from making certain types of calls but a lot of it depends on how your NARS / BARS is currently configured.

Station specific authcodes or authcode last might be what you are looking for.
