Call Pilot Message Notification

This is my first post to this site, so hi Everone.

As a result of downsizing I've inherited a new job, the PBX guy. I'm new to this stuff so you may see a few amature hour posts from me.

I have a user who has used the CallPilot Message Notification function to send a message to their cell phone whenever they get a new voicemail message. For the past month they have stopped receiving the notification calls. When it gives up, Call Pilot sends a voicemail message indicating that the system was unable to reach the remote notification number. Any ideas on why this just stopped working?

Check to see if the user entered a different number to be notified. Check the users "Mailbox Class".
They may be setup to change some of the "Notification of Message Delivery".
If they fat fingered a digit then that may be the reason.

I would also check make sure that Remote Notification is still checked in their mailbox profile. The feature is easily disabled when you answer one of the remote notification calls.

Silly thing but if the user set the numbers themselves, make sure they put in a 9 as well as checking John's suggestions.
