DCHI not responding. Action:
1. Disable and re-enable the DCHI card.
2. Check DCHI status.
Severity: Minor

This is usually just an informational message stating the counter 19 has reached the maximum value and is being reset.

No.

Reset the d-channel and the span, if errors continue reseat the PRI card. If errors persist reset the MSDL/D-channel card, you may need to do a force download to d-channel as well.

Thanks Jack for the troubleshooting tips... but im new to this kind of stuff.
can you guide me on how to:
1) Reset the d-channel and the span,
2) Reseat the PRI card. <- I already did this!
3) Reset the MSDL/D-channel card,
4) Force download to d-channel as well

Thanks

Is this span up and working?

In LD 96

STAT DCH 6

Then PLOG DCH 6

What do you get?

Not sure if error caused d to drop or if it is a result of span being in AEST at this point.

In LD 96 type
DIS DCH 6
You should get a message back that the d-channel went down in a minute or so, although when the D-Ch. is confused sometimes you need to enter command a couple of times.

In LD 60 type
DISL X wher xis the span associated with D-Ch. 6

Now type ENLL X again same loop number as above.

After a few minutes span should re-enable and D-Ch -- will hopeully establish/come up.

If not post all errors back.

If yes got back to LD 96 and do both the stat & plog commands and you should be good.
