Are you attempting to Call Foward External or Transfer External?

To setup transfer:
2500 Set
Give cls XFA
Allow set to call local or long distance
Inform caller to use "hookswitch" or Flash to activate Trns.

Digital Set
program a key xx TRN
Allow set to call local or long distance

If Transfer fails - Dial a local or long Distance number from the set
If that works - double check the programming
If that doesn't work - double check your NCOS.

Symposium
If out of service (skillset) Then
Route call 9 xxx xxxx
End if

or

If time of day= Variable and/or day of week = Variable and/or Idle agent < 1 (any of these) Then
Route call 9 xxx xxxx
End if

CFXA

2500 Set
Give CLS CFXA
Allow set to call local or long distance
Give FTR CFW 8
Go off-hook on set and dial # 1,
Recieve second dial tone
enter external number.

Digital Set
Give CLS CFXA
Allow set to call local or long distance
Program a key xx CFW 8
Adivise user to program key with a 9 lead digit.

Hope something above helps....
