Re: A sad day for Bob

I have been told that CP4 will allow for messages to be stored on the Exchange Server rather than the CallPilot server.

Our main goal is to have voicemail and faxes appear in the a folder under Outlook Today rather than a separate CallPilot container. I'm not speaking of the forwarding feature, but to actually store voicemail and/or faxes on our Exchange email server.

Can anyone speak from experience or knowledge on this?

Only by using the new Message forward feature in 4.0 can you get the messages sent from the CallPilot over to your Exchange Server...there is no other way I know of to do it.

Some people are confused when they see demo's where the inbox is blended. You can do this but at that point everything from your Exchange server gets pulled down to the message store on your computer where and not the corporate network.

This is why the two Message Store method is seen in 90% of all implementations.
