What type of system is this installed in?

If it's a large system confirm that it is on the correct hang off on the IPE module (the ITG cards take two slots) and that the filter module is the correct one for ethernet use.

Since you're dealing with a 11 we don't have to worry about the filter.

Just to clarify... is this a two slot ITG card or a newer MC-32 single slot? The two are often the called the same thing in some circles...
Aare you using the 'octopus' cable assembly or an L adapter?

Hi Slagburn,

I surf on the Nortel solution search and i found that they have a fix on this error but i don't have the procedure on working on the fix. Here is the thing i got from solution search:

(IGCC) : ALARM!!! ITG0402 - Voice ethernet port disconnected

Problem is worse with higher traffic

Cause:
Broadcast traffic peaks causing ITG card problems.

Fix:

Upgrade to 2.x.25 software for enhanced functionality in environments with broadcast traffic

How can i work on the fix? What are the procedure?\

Thanks,

Benny

RE:

From your first post you're on release 3.01.x (probably .25 or .60) so I doubt a downgrade to 2.x.25 is going to help.

Was this ever working for you?
