How can I tell how much space is being used in Meridian Mail and how much I have available.

Thanks Guy!

This is what it says:

Data 20,896 kbytes
Voice 99,456 kbytes 12:12 Hours

Data 80% full
Voice 58% full

The 80% full doesn't look too good, shouldnt be that full. What can be deleted?

We originally wanted to see about lifting the 14 day retention of read messages, probably isn't a good idea?

Thoughts?

Call Redirection by time of day
Probably not, You may have to do a voicemail audit. What I have found is that there are a few mailboxes that are full of messages. Usually from people who have left and thier mailbox never got deleted.

In User Administration, using the "Find" will help you locate and delete old mailboxes.

phones disabeling at midnight
If people don't empty their mailbox, it will show in the Voice part.
The Data part is for the rest: mailboxes, voice menus, annoucements, etc.
You can check if there are some of them you can delete. But I should not be too worry about Data at 80%. It would be much more a problem if the Voice was at 80% or more.
We had recently 100%!!

Setting up a VT520
Does nortel not offer something like a 73GB SCSI hard drive or something you can add to your system??
