Hi All,
I am tring to install a signaling server. The problem which i got from nortel is not a bootable, i am tring to create a Boot floopy by below procedure.

To create a Signaling Server Boot Floppy, do the following:

(Note - It will take 2 to 4 minutes to format the floppy diskette
and copy the files to it).

1. The following files are needed:
cdrom.sys
fdrom.sys
mkboot.bat
n
nvram.sys
README.TXT (this file)
vxsys.com

2. Double-click on the file mkboot.bat.

3. Put a blank 2HD (1.44 MB) diskette into the A: drive and press Enter.

4. The floppy is formatted and the system files are copied to it.
When you see the message "The Boot Floppy is successfully created",
you can remove the floppy and close the DOS window.

I done as the same but the double click on the mkboot.bat nothing is showing....any have the same problem...r is any other way to create boot disk...please help me

Startup Templates

I've never installed a Signalling Server from a boot floppy; the only boot options I've seen are (H) for hard disk and (C) for CD ROM.

Is it posible that the security policy on the PC you are trying to run the mkboot.bak file on is preventing you from executing batch files?

You need to boot the Sig Server from the installation CD. Look for the [H]ard Disk or the [C]D Rom prompt during startup.

You need to be plugged in to the rear RS-232 port at 19,200 8/N/1 to see these messages. If you are trying to see this on a normal monitor, you wll see nothing after the rows of ++++++++++++
