The branch office does not register with the main office but you do need to set up a dial plan between the main and branch to be able to access trunks on the branch.

It does cover the NRS provisioning and has some excellent lab examples that go through the various configurations for digital sets at the branch, IP phones that will support local mode from the branch, E911 provisioning for branch users, and most of the common caveats like proper QoS configurations and dialplan design. There are some very specific design and engineering concerns that need to be accounted for, and I doubt this could be taught via this forum. You may want to consider having a channel partner do this for you the first time around, and then you can work up from there. The folks in the class are pretty seasoned in VoIP and telecom, and everyone is just starting to fully understand the nuances after 4 days. I hope that gives you a good idea of the complexity of this. Take a read through the Branch NTP's and decide for yourself if this is something you feel you can tackle yourself.
