Oddball IP Addresses on PBX

Hi all:

Is there a way to bypass the "Not-SL1-Login-Screen portion" of the rlogin from the Sig Server to the PBX and get right to the OVL000 (SL1 Input)? I heard some talk a while back that with some parameters, you could bypass that part of the login and kind of force it to the normal PBX TTY session. Any help is appreciated as always.

I tried
Code:
oam> rlogin <ip addy of server> -l ADMIN1
but that didn't work.

Thanks,
Arch

I use cslogin and it doesn't prompt me for an IP address or anything.

Good tip, Spivy!

Spanton asks a good question -- is there a way to get out of the Call Server and back to the oam> prompt?

Thanks,
Arch

I have not found a way to exit it. Maybe somebody smarter than me can tell us either way.

What I do in my lab,

Disclaimer:
(I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS ON A PRODUCTION SYSTEM!!!)

Is try to enter PDT, but just hit the CR and fail. This will dump you back to the oam> prompt.

You can also exit the rlogin / cslogin and return top the SS shell by typing ~. (yes that is ~<dot> )

Just got that info from a unix guy here who has been playing with rlogin in to the PBXs via the ELAN interface.
