I guess I should clearify a few things.

First I want to apologize to you, I have been moving my place of residence and have not been able to admin the site like I should. I think our Current Admins have done a great job with the information I have given them, which wasn't much.

So now that I am back I can better server you.

Subscriptions/Donations/Memberships.... all this amounts to one thing. Support. Support for the Site and support for yourself. The main reason of this site was to create a resource that wasn't readily available on the Net. It was also a hobby of mine, I enjoyed helping people out. well The site has grown from a few hundred to a over Five Thousand...I have had to upgrade my Hosting/Servers 5 times in the past Year and may need to again soon. We are constantly growing and it seems the bigger we get the faster we grow.

I want to stress that Subscribing to the Site is completely Optional, its sole purpose is to pay for hosting and other Web associated Costs.

I can honestly say I have never turned a profit from this site and had never intended on it...matter of fact is has been much the opposite. Again, this has been a very enjoyable hobby for me, getting to know a lot of you has been very rewarding. I also have been helped out in a bind once or twice so I know that my site has been very helpful to me.

I know there are some other sites out there that have Nortel info on them and I encourage you to go and find as many resouces as you can... I know ours is not perfect or has the Ultimate guide on it. But we do have regulars and we do have a community, Something other places lack.

I really enjoy this site and I know a lot of you do as well. Which brings me to my final point.

This sites exsitence is only here because of the kindness of a few subscribers. This site is here to help you. The only thing I am asking for is to help me help you.

A lot of people said I am crazy for not just charging for access to the site... "They won't buy the cow if they are getting the Milk for free!" ... and they might be right, but I personally want to keep PBXINFO Free for as long as possible. I am looking for other ways to support the site, If you have any suggestions please email them to me personally at rick@Pbxinfo.com

I noticed the yearly membership is $49/year but the monthly is $5/mo = $60 year-- so you essencially get an $11 discount if you pay a year up front, correct??

As of today, March 6th, we have 70 subscribers (at different levels of subscription, i'm not sure how many are from the Februrary $1.99 per month sweetheart deal).

Keep em coming. 1000 is a nice round number.
